Creating effective Questions during SPOCathon

About the Workshop Sessions

NPTEL SPOCathon is an effort for engaging teachers from local chapters to be integral part of content augmentation exercise. As part of this effort, teachers attempt at creating meaningful and engaging questions for existing NPTEL videos in this Content Management Portal (https://spocathon.page/).

This a self-paced workshop that allows participants interested in the content augmentation process to understand the critical aspects related to this process. The entire workshop has been split into four sessions as follows:

  1. Session 1 - How to improve comprehension of videos through chunking?
  2. Session 2 - How to identify the ideal timing for asking a question?
  3. Session 3 - How to assess cognitive level of the question?
  4. Session 4 - How to provide constructive feedback to the students after posing the question?
