Cognitive level of the question generated

Question is aligned with learning outcomes set for the particular video chunk. The question asked is not limited to ‘remember ‘or ‘recall’ level, but it will help in improving students’ learning and grasping about the topic being taught in the video. The question gives an immediate opportunity for students to use the knowledge that they are gaining by watching the current video.

Although the question may help in improving students’ learning and grasping about the topic being taught in the video, it is not aligned with learning outcomes. It is either at a lower or higher cognitive level when compared to the cognitive level of learning outcomes designed for the particular video chunk.

The question is not aligned with learning outcomes designed for the particular video chunk. Additionally, the question does not serve the purpose of improving students’ learning and grasping about the topic being taught in the video.

  1. Go to the course where you have already created questions
  2. Use the rubric item given below to self-evaluate the question's cognitive level.
  3. If the self-evaluation results in levels of either 'Scope for Improvement' or 'Not Acceptable' refine the timing of your question based on the video above.
